Returning to Kings Place for its fourth edition, the biennial Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize features 100 works by British and Irish artists, showcasing the very best of contemporary self-portraiture. 

Run by the Ruth Borchard Collection to celebrate twenty-first century British and Irish self-portraiture, the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize offers a unique opportunity for new and established artists alike to compete for a prize decided upon by a distinguished panel of judges. Previous winners of the Prize include Celia Paul (2011), Thomas Newbolt (2013), and Shanti Panchal (2015).
